Nora Simonson is a graduate of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign with over 10 years experience in the audio world. While in college, Nora had the opportunity to work with a variety of different productions, including straight plays, operas, musicals, dance shows, live band performances, and corporate events. Nora also worked at UIUC's Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, where they worked with numerous nationally touring productions. In addition to helping out with load ins and strikes, Nora often FOH and monitor mixed for the wide range of acts, including dance troupes, jazz bands, and percussion ensembles.

By complete coincidence, Nora has always ended up in the mountains during the summerstock season, whether in Utah, Massachusetts, or Colorado. Coming from the Chicago suburbs, they truly appreciate the beautiful change of scenery. Most recently, they were in Aspen, CO as the Head Audio Engineer/A1 for Theatre Aspen and mixing the AEA musicals of Chicago and Rock of Ages.

Nora has recently relocated and is now freelancing in the DMV area.
